MindVault FAQ

What Is ABPN MOC?

ABPN Maintenance of Certification, or MOC, is the ongoing framework through which participating diplomates maintain certification after initial certification. Requirements and timing vary by certificate and policy, so diplomates should confirm their current status and activities through ABPN.

How Often Is MOC Required?

MOC is better understood as an ongoing cycle than a single universal recertification date. Your certificate history and current ABPN program determine which activities apply and when they are due.

Build a Sustainable Refresher Plan

Short recurring review sessions are easier to sustain than a late scramble. Mix familiar domains with areas outside daily practice, and use explanations to refresh the reasoning behind each answer.
